(More customer reviews)The main reason for purchasing this bit was the price. I have a cabinet making set with a different style panel raising bit. My client wanted a bead profile to wrap the ogee. My set is just the classical ogee without the bead. This bit cut through the red oak very cleanly. There was some chip-out when cutting along the grain due to me taking too large a bite. The final pass was 1/32 (I use a shimmed fence) and the end results are great. I have only used horizontal panel raising bits in the past but I like the speed with which I can sling the vertical design and will probably buy more as money allows. Great shipping, the bit came with plastic or wax melted over it to protect it. It's little details that make me trust a vendor. I will purchase from MLCS again.
