(More customer reviews)Router bits manufactured by Whiteside Machine Company have long been my first choice to purchase when adding to my router bit collection, and they have a very good warranty. Whiteside bits are very sharp and keep their sharness longer than most anything else I've used. The Whiteside 3000 router bit is no exception - it performs excellently. This bit has 1/2" cutter dia. with 1/4" cutter length so it's best used on dado's 1/2" or more deep. There is one caveat though about this particular router bit: it is designed to be a dado clean out bit to square the bottom of dado cuts made on a table saw. It is not made for massive hogging, although I can get away with using it to create a dado if I don't get over zealous and try to remove too much material all at once. You'll be glad you bought this.
