(More customer reviews)I purchased this bit along with a extension to route serving bowls in 2" thick mahogany. The bit was checked in 2and half horse power router on a CNC machine. It ran for 90 minutes per tray with excellent finish and sharpness. Don't know what the life expectancy is for this bit but Whiteside has an excellent reputation for durablity. I have done three trays so far with vey good results. Highly recommended.
