(More customer reviews)I bought some 5/8" aluminum plate to build an engine mount. This blade mounted on my radial arm saw cut it with ease. The secret is to not cut more than 1/8" on one pass or the blade has a tendency to grab. The finsh on the edge of the plate is smooth and only took minor polishing and sanding to a mirror finish. Use safety glasses and a dust collection system or you will be buried in chips
