(More customer reviews)I have several Wixey "measuring" devices. I previously purchased a non-Wixey digital height gauge because it was $20 cheaper. I hated it since I had become use to the Wixey standard on my other measuring products. I ended up replacing the height gauge with a Wixey and it is far superior to the non-Wixey product. I like the Fraction display feature (in addition to decimals), it is a much smoother sliding/adjusting mechanism and is a better buy despite the higher price. I can say in this case you do get what you pay for. Amazon offers it at a slight discount versus other sites and it does go on sale online elsewhere on occasion. I recommend this product. In fact, I recommend all Wixey products based on the 5 different items I own. This product "measures up" - pun intended!
